“Ailish has been an en extremely flexible and reliable coach. I have been working with Ailish for a number of years and as a result we have achieved some wonderful success in the dressage arena. Ailish sets achievable goals and is quick to praise your efforts. She provides constructive feedback througout our lessons and always takes the time to reflect on what works and what we need to continue working on”.
“I Started lessons with Ailish many years ago when I was a level 5 Adult Riding Club competitor. After retiring my thoroughbred due to injury, I bought a new horse named Dee. Ailish rode him regularly to get him back to Medium level and fine tune him for me to learn the higher movements. Ailish’s calm and confident approach helped me learn to trust my new horse and understand how to ride a horse forward to the bit in the correct way”.
“Hi I am Brooke and I am 12 years old, my pony Ringo and I compete at novice and we are training elementary. In the last six months that I have had Ringo we have come so far from Ailish's fabulous coaching skills. Ringo and I have achieved so many of our goals and Ailish has been there every step of the way supporting my dreams. Ailish always makes sure that we are fully prepared going into a competition and always feels free to answer any of my queries.”
“My name is Olivia Mance, I'm 16 years old and I ride a 16.2 Dutch Warmblood at Novice level. I have been working with Ailish for the past 8 months and she has taken me from being a nervous rider that had just moved off pony, riding prelim to confidently riding my Warmblood in novice. Ailish has greatly helped me build up my riding skills and helped me target, and correct everything I had be having difficulty with.”
“After having nearly 2 years off from riding and getting straight back into it on my young horse, my confidence was completely lacking and riding was very rusty. I was referred to Ailish from someone at my agistment for help as I was feeling completely overwhelmed by my energetic horse! Ailish began riding my horse 4 days a week, establishing the basics and bringing the best out in him. When I started riding him again, I felt a totally different horse under me”.
“Ailish Hill has been instructing me on my horse Romeo (Cayuse Spirit Song), for the past 18 months. My experience of Ailish is very positive. She has a very good understanding of the young horse. She is extremely adept at adapting herself to all types of horses as an instructor and quickly picks up the individual constitutional and temperament requirements of each horse and relaying them clearly to her students”.
“Bimbadeen Mr. Arrogance (aka Harry) is a 12.3hh Welsh x Arabian riding pony that I have owned since 2010. Ailish has helped Harry and I establish all our basics as well as master all the novice movements. Harry and recently won the Novice Pony Championship at JurAvon Park. Ailish is very knowledgeable and always extremely patient when she teaches. I have achieved more than I could have hoped in a short amount of time and would highly recommend her to anyone.”
